FAQ

AAIP score questions

Is this my official AAIP score?
No. This calculator gives an estimate based on the AAIP Worker EOI Points Grid (August 7, 2025 version). The AAIP sets your official score when you submit your Expression of Interest.
What is the minimum language score to submit an EOI?
You need at least CLB 4 in English or NCLC 4 in French to submit an AAIP Worker EOI. Higher scores earn more points, up to 10 for CLB 6 or higher in English.
Which factors are most often miscalculated?
Education and regulated occupation points. Together they are worth up to 32 points, and international credentials, trades certificates and Alberta certification status all need careful document review.
What happens if I claim points I am not entitled to?
Claiming the wrong points, even by mistake, can lead to a misrepresentation finding and a multi-year bar from Canadian immigration programs. Our RCIC validates every field before you submit.
Does a high score guarantee selection?
No. AAIP draws target specific sectors and occupations, so your stream and occupation matter as well as your score. A consultation maps your best pathway before you submit.
