1. Introduction and Acceptance

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website www.litmusimmigration.ca (the "Website") and the immigration consulting services provided by Litmus Immigration Services Inc. ("Litmus Immigration", "we", "our", or "us"), a company incorporated in Canada.

By accessing our Website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Website or services.

2. About Our Services

Litmus Immigration Services Inc. provides regulated Canadian immigration consulting services. All services are provided by or under the supervision of Harikrishnan Nair, a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC), licensed by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC), Registration No. R731549.

As an RCIC, Harikrishnan Nair is authorized to represent clients before Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), and Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC).

3. No Legal Advice

4. Consultation and Retainer Agreement

Engaging our services for representation purposes requires a formal Retainer Agreement signed by both parties. The Retainer Agreement will set out the specific scope of services, fees, timelines, and obligations of both parties.

Booking a paid consultation through our Website constitutes an agreement to our consultation terms, including our cancellation policy. A paid consultation does not by itself create a client-consultant relationship for representation purposes.

5. Fees and Payment

All fees for our services are set out in your Retainer Agreement or disclosed prior to your consultation booking. All amounts are in Canadian dollars unless otherwise specified.

Fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated in your Retainer Agreement or as required by applicable law. Litmus Immigration reserves the right to update its fee schedule at any time; changes do not affect existing signed Retainer Agreements.

6. No Guarantee of Outcome

We commit to providing diligent, professional, and ethical representation in accordance with CICC standards. However, engaging our services does not guarantee a positive immigration decision.

7. Client Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate, complete, and truthful information and documentation
• Notifying us promptly of any changes to your circumstances that may affect your application
• Reviewing all documents before submission and informing us of any errors or omissions
• Meeting all deadlines communicated to you
• Maintaining valid immigration status as applicable during the processing of your application

Litmus Immigration is not liable for any negative outcomes resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the client.

8. Confidentiality

We treat all client information as strictly confidential in accordance with our Privacy Policy and CICC professional conduct requirements. We will not disclose your information to third parties except as required to provide our services, as authorized by you, or as required by law.

9. Website Use

You may use our Website for lawful purposes only. You must not:

• Use the Website in any way that violates applicable Canadian or international laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Website or its related systems
• Transmit any unsolicited commercial communications or malicious code

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our Website or services after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
